Hi there! My name is Silk, and yes, I'm definitely known for my excellent hiding skills, but give me a moment to get to know you and I promise you'll see what a sweetie I am. I absolutely love being brushed, enjoying sunny naps, and playing with toys, especially strings and balls. I'm super smart and even trained to hop into my carrier when asked politely! Once I warm up to you, I'll happily come curl up for pets and show you my purr. I do best when people approach me gently and let me sniff and say hello in my own time. I came to the shelter with my bonded sister, Mibaby, a curious calico girl with a heart full of love to give. We're really hoping to find a loving home together. We've been through a lot recently and would mean the world to us to stay by each other's side. I love my water fountain and might need a little encouragement with meals at first, but with patience and kindness, I'll settle right in.
