My Story
Bailey’s story begins as a bright-eyed tri-color puppy born on a June morning in 2020, growing into a gentle, affectionate companion who spent five loving years with her family before major life changes—welcoming a new baby and moving to a no-pets rental—set her on a new path. Though shy at first, Bailey’s tender heart shines quickly, especially when she melts into belly rubs or trots happily on walks. She’s a sensitive soul who adores people, gets along with select dogs, and has lived peacefully with both a cat and another dog, guarding only her food and cozy spaces from canine roommates. Bailey loves toys, chasing wildlife, chewing bones, and curling up on the couch, and while she barks to express her worries or excitement, she balances it with sweetness and loyalty. She’s timid at the vet, a little nervous around toddlers, and wary of bigger unfamiliar dogs, but she greets gentle friends with soft tail wags and has never shown aggression. In the shelter, she arrived unsure but soon warmed up, accepting pets and exploring toys with curiosity. Now Bailey hopes for a calm, patient home where she can feel safe, loved, and understood—a place where her snuggly nature, protective heart, and eagerness to belong can shine again.

Then, come in during our open hours!
