My Story

Meet Our Mutt: Jane Jane is one of the many lucky pups leaving an overcrowded shelter in Georgia and heading north to Cedarburg, WI with Mutt Life Dog Rescue on May 10th, 2025. But there’s a catch—she can’t make the journey unless a loving foster or adopter is ready to welcome her home. Found as a stray with her siblings, Jane has already come a long way from the hard days of hunger and uncertainty. Now she’s ready for love, comfort, and her happily ever after. Jane was found as a stray alongside her siblings, severely malnourished and struggling to survive. Despite her tough beginnings, she has remained full of tail wags and hope. Jane is friendly and affectionate, though she can be a little shy at first—especially in new environments. Once she warms up, she’s pure sunshine. Jane loves people, does great with other dogs, and is happiest when she’s soaking up affection and making new friends. She may not have leash walking down just yet, but with a little patience and training, she’ll be strutting with confidence in no time. This sweet girl is a true gem and would be a joyful addition to any family.
