Age 9 weeks as of 8/7 Weight 8 lbs Adoption donation $799 Winifred is an adorable puppy whose mother showed up at the home of an elderly couple in rural Mississippi and almost immediately gave birth to two puppies. Sadly, Winifred’s sister wandered off one day and was never seen again. So there’s just Winnie and Mom now, and both need loving homes. We’d love to find a home for Winifred as soon as possible since the couple caring for her are older and not really in a position to take care of a young puppy Winifred is about nine weeks now in early August, she is just a typical puppy, sweet and cuddly, with lots of tail wags and kisses. Wags has administered two of her three puppy shots and Bordetella, Winnie will need a rabies shot after she is at least 12 weeks. Winifred is too young to be spayed, she will have the procedure in the northeast when she is older, Wags will pay at one of the clinics that we use or reimburse adopters what we pay. Dog Scanner app says Winifred seems to have English pointer and English fox hound and fox terrier in her, her Mom is about 37 pounds, dad didn’t stick around! We’d love a home for Winnie where someone is around a lot to give her the attention that she needs.
