My Story

Alice was found in North Dallas as a very young momma cat with two kittens. She has been inside her foster's home since January 2026, getting socialized and loving being a house cat not a street cat. Life on the streets taught her to be independent, resourceful, and cautious, but now that she's safe, it's clear what she's always wanted: a quiet place to call home. She has a very shiny and soft black coat. She is a gentle, well-mannered girl who enjoys the simple things in life. A comfortable bed, a full food bowl, a sunny window watching people, squirrels, and birds outside. Alice could spend hours happily keeping an eye on the world outside. She isn't demanding and she doesn't need to be the center of attention. Most of the time she's content to do her own thing, enjoying the comfort and security of indoor life. What makes Alice so special is the affectionate side she shares with the people she trusts.Alice will come running when you call her name. She likes to jump into your lap. She knows some commands. She loves a good snuggle session and has a sweet, loving nature that shines through once she feels comfortable. There is something incredibly rewarding about earning the affection of a cat like Alice. She doesn't give her heart away to just anyone, but when she does, it means something. After everything she's been through, Alice seems to appreciate every kindness. She has traded uncertainty for sunny windows and soft blankets, and she wears the change well. Now all that's missing is a person of her own—someone to share the quiet moments with, someone who will love her for exactly who she is, and someone she can finally stop searching for.
