Meet Blackie, a ten-year-old Domestic Shorthair weighing 16.5 pounds. Blackie is a big, chunky boy with a gentle heart and a soft, sweet personality. He was lovingly cared for for over ten years before being surrendered alongside his brother, Tux, when their owner was no longer able to care for them. This transition has been a big adjustment for him, and he can be a little shy at first as he learns to trust his new surroundings. Once he feels comfortable, Blackie shows his affectionate side and will happily chat with you in his own talkative way. He’s looking for a calm, patient home that will give him the time and understanding he needs to settle in at his own pace. Blackie would love a quiet place where he can feel safe, loved, and spoiled the way every senior gentleman deserves. Ready to adopt?
