My Story
Hi, I'm Chet! When I first arrive somewhere new, I like to sit back and observe the action before jumping in. Once I feel comfortable, though, I'm all in! I have plenty of typical kitten energy and can play for what feels like forever. I love wrestling with my brother, chasing every toy I can find (seriously, I haven't met a toy I didn't like), and occasionally batting at human hands during playtime. I'm also a little clumsier than my brother, which apparently makes me pretty entertaining to watch. When I'm not zooming around, I'm recharging for my next adventure-play hard, nap hard, repeat!
One thing you should know about me: I take mealtime very seriously. When my wet food arrives, I CHOW DOWN! Sometimes I get so excited that I try to talk with my mouth full, which my foster family finds absolutely adorable. I'm a kitten who knows what he wants, whether that's another helping of fun or just a little more playtime before heading to my room. If you see me running from your hands at bedtime, don't worry-I'm usually just saying, "I'm not done playing yet!"
When the day winds down, my softer side comes out. I love cozy hideouts, warm blankets, and cuddle time. Right now, I especially enjoy snuggling up with my brother, but I also like curling up with my human foster siblings. If I'm looking for affection, I'll let out a gentle little meow to let you know. I've already been around a resident dog without any issues, and while I was a little unsure of new people on my first day, I've settled in nicely. I'm still finding my confidence, but with a comfy spot to call my own and a loving family, I know I'll fit right in.
