Flamey - A Little Spark Who Refuses to Stop Shining Some kittens come into rescue scared of people. Some kittens take weeks to learn that humans can be trusted. Then there's Flamey. This handsome flame point boy seems to know that someone gave him a second chance, and he has spent every day since returning that kindness with endless love. Flamey had a very difficult start to life. He arrived at rescue severely malnourished and battling both coccidia and giardia--two intestinal parasites that can be especially hard on tiny kittens. While many kittens would have struggled to trust after such a rough beginning, Flamey somehow came through it with his sweet spirit completely intact. Today, he's a healthy, happy little boy whose favorite place is right in your arms. Flamey absolutely loves people. Pick him up, and you'll be rewarded with a tiny purring engine that seems determined to soak up every bit of affection he missed out on during those early days. He enjoys being held, cuddled, and carried around, and he never seems to get tired of human attention. There is something incredibly special about this kitten. Whether it's his gentle nature, his loving eyes, or the way he melts into your arms, Flamey has a way of making people feel chosen. His foster family often jokes that he acts grateful to be rescued--as if he knows someone cared enough to save him and wants to spend the rest of his life showing his appreciation. Like many flame points, Flamey combines beauty with a wonderfully social personality. He's playful, curious, affectionate, and happiest when he can be close to his humans. Flamey's story could have ended very differently, but thanks to a second chance, this little spark has grown into a bright, loving companion ready to light up someone's life.
