Guppy is missing one of her right carpal bones (one of the bones in the wrist). This does not slow her down and does not appear to be causing any clinical concerns. With growth, it is possible that her right wrist will continue grow at an abnormal angle (angle out). At this time, we do not believe that any intervention will be needed. If this kitten begins to have trouble using this limb, consultation with a veterinary surgeon is recommended. X-rays are available upon request.
