My Story

Lizzy is a spayed, Tuxedo female, split black top and white underside. She has black patches over her golden eyes and she looks like she's put a pair of "black chaps" on her back legs! She is up to date on her shots and in good health. Though she is very playful and does great with our other cats, she is not a fan of my daughter's large German Shepherd. He is rarely around and she tolerates him or hides when he's here so I think she'd acclimate to dogs relatively easily after some time. Please note: Lizzy is quite skittish around new people and children. She doesn't like loud noises or fast movements. She was the only survivor of her litter and is distrusting at first. She is very curious and will watch you from a distance until she feels comfortable with you. She is also highly independent, but extremely affectionate when she wants attention and you have her trust. It took several weeks to get her comfortable with us (as a foster family) but once she was, she is all purring, rolling on her back for tummy scratches and jumping up on your lap to see you or cuddle at your feet at night time. Lizzy is all "Miss independence"/"You talking to me?" on the outside but she's definitely all soft playful kitten on the inside. It will take some patience, understanding and the ability to let her come to you at her own pace, but she is so worth it! She will be a loving, faithful family member to someone very lucky.
