Marble

Meet Marble!! He is an approximately 11-month-old, small Domestic Short Hair looking for his forever home! He is litterbox trained and he does not have any special needs, but he is looking for a special person to bring him home. Marble's ideal home is with a family that will appreciate his quirks and be content to let him live in their space and interact with humans on his own terms. This boy was born out in the elements. A good Samaritan was feeding his family when the winter weather started moving in. His caretaker reached out for help getting Marble and his family out of the elements and away from potential predators (on of his siblings was sadly killed by a stray dog). We agreed to take Marble, his mom Wednesday, and his sister, Muffin in, but they were all 3 slightly anti-social. Muffin was eventually moved to a foster home where she had more one on one attention, and recently god adopted! Marble and his mom stayed together. We believe they would both adjust to being separated, but they do love each other, and would love to stay together, too. Marble is not extremely fond of physical interactions with humans, and he is really shy. He can be handled and petted, but he will give half-hearted hisses depending on his mood. Marble has had limited interactions with other cats and should be fine in a home with other cats. We also believe he would do well in a home with dogs, given the appropriate introductions and time to adjust. He would do best in a home without young children due to his skepticism of humans.
