Meet Marshmallow! She goes by Mellow, and it fits her perfectly. This sweet calico girl loves nothing more than relaxing on the couch with her favorite people and curling up beside you at bedtime. Mellow takes a little time to settle into new surroundings, but once she feels comfortable, she blossoms into a playful, affectionate companion. She especially loves gentle chin rubs and being petted behind her ears, and she'll happily lean in for more attention. When she's feeling playful, Mellow is all about laser pointers, wand toys, and anything with feathers. A fun play session followed by a cozy nap is her idea of the perfect day. Mellow is a big, lovable girl who is looking for a family to support her on a healthy weight-loss journey. Keeping her active with daily play and working with your veterinarian on a gradual plan will help her feel her best. Because of her size, she may need a little extra help with grooming and will appreciate a litter box that's easy to get in and out of. She would thrive in a calm adult home where she can settle in at her own pace and enjoy all the love and comfort she deserves. You have two options: #1- VISIT IN PERSON Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You'll be able to meet available cats in the shelter.
