My Story

Meet Miss Silly Lilly - Looking for Her Final Forever Home There are kittens who bounce off the walls. There are young cats who turn your living room into an obstacle course. And then there's Miss Silly Lilly. Lilly has already lived the part of life most shelter cats dream about. She had a home. She had a person. She had a couch, a routine, a family, and a place where she belonged. Then, through no fault of her own, everything changed. When her beloved owner passed away, Lilly found herself here at the shelter, confused and wondering why the life she knew disappeared overnight. And honestly? We wonder the same thing. At approximately 15 years old, Miss Lilly is a beautiful senior tabby with soft hazy eyes that have seen a lifetime of love. She moves a little slower these days and has a touch of arthritis-just like many of us earn after a life well lived-but she's healthy, comfortable, and still very much enjoying life. Most importantly? She still loves people. She still enjoys affection. She still wants companionship. She still has so much love left to give. Lilly is the kind of cat who doesn't need much. She isn't asking for adventure. She isn't asking for excitement. She's asking for a sunny window. A soft bed. A gentle hand. And someone to love her again. She is: Spayed Up to date on vaccines Microchipped No medications needed An expert in the art of being a wonderful companion We know senior cats are often overlooked. We know people scroll past the grey whiskers and cloudy eyes. But what they don't realize is that cats like Lilly come with something special. They already know how to be part of a family. They already know how to love. And they are grateful for every day they get to spend with you. If you're a senior looking for a companion, or simply someone who understands that the best things in life aren't always young, Miss Silly Lilly may be exactly who you've been waiting for. She has already spent years being someone's cherished cat. We would love nothing more than for her to spend the rest of her years being someone's cherished cat again. Please don't let Miss Silly Lilly spend her golden years in a shelter when she belongs in a home.
