My Story
Osiris - ID# 19687 - Kennel #648 - Arrived June 6th - Domestic Shorthair Mix - Black - Male - Approximately 3 Years 4 Months Old - 11.3125 lbs - Neutered - Up to Date on Vaccines - FIV/FeLV Negative
Osiris is an approximately three-year-old black Domestic Shorthair mix with a sleek, glossy coat, striking yellow-green eyes, and the kind of quiet, watchful presence that makes black cats so endlessly captivating. He arrived at Cobb Animal Services on June 6th alongside his companion Cheddar, and this handsome, mysterious boy has been right by that big orange cat's side ever since. Named for an Egyptian god and carrying himself accordingly, Osiris is a cat who is impossible to look away from.
Osiris is house trained and good with children - calm, composed, and ready to settle into a loving home where his quiet elegance is appreciated. At just over three years old he is in the prime of his life, fully grown and fully himself - a sleek, beautiful cat with many wonderful years ahead of him. Black cats are among the most overlooked in shelters, which makes finding the right person for Osiris all the more important.
Sharing his kennel is Cheddar - a big, warm orange tabby who has been his constant companion since they arrived together. The contrast between the two of them is striking in the best possible way, and a home with room for both would gain something truly special. But whatever comes next for Osiris, he deserves a home that will see past the superstitions that too often follow black cats and recognize him for the extraordinary cat he truly is.
Osiris is sleek, stunning, and ready to be someone's devoted companion. He is waiting in Kennel #648 with those bright yellow-green eyes and that glossy black coat, hoping the right person is on their way. Come meet him - and take a moment to get to know Cheddar too. These two are something special.
