My Story

Meet Pamela, This 17-year is a absolute gem and she's looking for that special someone who wants to help an old, loving lady live out the rest of her days in peace and happiness. Pammy was recently found on the streets surviving off scraps of food. She is SO GRATEFUL to have been rescued and boy does she show it! Pammy is a very easy-going and mild-tempered cat, but she LOVES to be picked up like a baby and held in her hoomans arms. She'll put her little arms over your shoulder and reciprocate with a hug! She's a sucker for kisses and purrs loudly when she gets them - she's a talker too! For being as old as she is, Pammy is in fantastic health. She is negative for FeLV and FIV, walks fine and functions very well independently. As with any super-senior, though, her body shows her age. She has developed "cauliflower ear" from previous infections she had while on the street (this deformity is benign and not painful) and she has a grade 3 heart murmur and some slight dental issues, though this does not present any problems with eating, and at this time, Pamela does NOT require ANY medical intervention. Right now, all she's looking for is LOVE. Pamela should be in a single-cat household and would do well with a special parent looking for a companionship, or, just an adopter with a massive heart who wants to help her spend the rest of her days making up for the hard life she had on the streets. We would also be open to potential fosters. Will you be the one to give Pamela the life she has always deserved? -- Apply to adopt Pamela at bit.ly/btcradopt Apply to foster Pamela at bit.ly/btcrfoster Or go through our website http://bronxtails.org All Bronx Tails cats are spayed/neutered (when age appropriate), vaccinated, tested for Feline AIDS and Feline Leukemia and are litterbox reliable and loving toward people. We require adopters to fill out an application, have basic references checked, allow a home visit and video tour (to ensure conditions are safe and reasonable), and pay an adoption fee. We allow all adopters an up-to-2-week-long tryout period to determine if the cat(s) is a good match for them. If not, we will retrieve the cat(s) and return the adoption fee in full. We will also help with tips and methods for introducing the cat(s) to other pets, if needed
