My Story

Pepper is a beautiful 3-year-old girl with a loving heart and a personality that shines the moment you meet her. This super sweet kitty absolutely adores attention and would be happiest in a home where she can soak up all the love for herself. While she gets along just fine with the other cats in her foster home, Pepper doesn’t seem interested in being part of the group—she much prefers having her own space and being the center of attention. Pepper is affectionate, easygoing, and enjoys being close to her people. She’s wonderfully easy to handle, comfortable being picked up, and always ready for pets, cuddles, and companionship. With her beautiful eyes and adorable face, she has a way of making everyone fall in love with her almost instantly. Sadly, Pepper’s story is one we wish was uncommon. She was originally posted on lost and found, and when her owner was contacted, they decided they no longer wanted her simply because she was no longer a tiny kitten. Now, this sweet girl finds herself in rescue, a little confused and wondering how she ended up without a home despite having so much love to give. Pepper deserves so much better than being overlooked for growing up. She is a loyal, affectionate companion who is ready to give her whole heart to someone willing to give her the forever home she’s been missing. We hope the right person will look into her beautiful eyes, see the sweetness in her gentle soul, and give this deserving girl the loving home she’s waited for. All cats and kittens adopted through Friends of Felines are spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on FVRCP vaccinations and rabies shots (if old enough). See our adoption process below: 1) Fill out the adoption application at https://friendsofelines.org/adopt 2) Meet with the cat in their foster home 3) If you and the cat are a match then we will set a take home date 1-7 days after the meeting depending on schedules.
