My Story

Ramses is over the top friendly. He comes when he is called and he loves to be petted. He was born in 2024 and has had quite the journey. He was adopted from Feral Cat Rescue as a kitten. I received a call from another rescue about 2.5 hours away from here. A woman had found him outside and said she had seen him for a few months. She contacted the rescue and and they took him into their foster system. Fortunately they scanned him for a microchip and he was traced back to us. I contacted his owner and she said she had been living with a boyfriend who would not let her take him when they ended their relationship. She also said she had no idea that he had thrown poor Ramses outside to fend for himself. She was in no position to take him back so he is currently in our foster program. He is so delighted to be loved that he does get overly excited and nips at me sometimes if I pet him too much. I would think it would be best if he went to a home with no children and with someone who can patiently screech at him when he does this. I am currently doing this to break him of this habit. Hopefully when he realizes the love isnt going away or the food, he will calm down. Can someone please foster to adopt this boy and give him a chance at love and security? Meet the available cats and kittens at the Petco in California MD on Saturdays and Sundays 11-3 or at the Meow Dyer Cat Cafe in Leonardtown MD. Apply online at www.feralcatrescuemd.org.
