Sasha (Lap cat senior)

13yo Sasha had lost everything. She lost her owner, her home, her kitty sibling...and her freedom after being brought to a municipal shelter and put in a cage. The horror of all of that sent her into hunger-strike mode. There are few things as painful and difficult as having a cat who is perfectly healthy, but they start to decline right before your very eyes because they are too upset to eat. That was Sasha a few weeks ago and we were getting scared. Cats can quickly get into some serious trouble physically if they go even a few days without food. Appetite stimulant, fluids, nutritional gel...and hours of reassurance, brushing and tlc brought her back! With a full belly, Sasha is now feeling much better and happily exploring our Adoption Center. She is sweet, and gentle - loving and affectionate, and SOOO ready to be home again.
