Scarlet - CHOW HOUND

Meet Scarlet a gorgeous gray kitty with green eyes, who along with her sister Melanie landed at Second Chance four years ago and soon after these sisters were adopted together. Recently their owner became unhoused and had nowhere for the girls to go so they were returned. As one can imagine, after being in a home for 4 years to suddenly be back at the shelter was a shock. However, happy to report both girls have adjusted well and are a testimony to their resilience. Scarlet enjoys pets and will begin to purr and lean her head in for more. She enjoys people attention yet also enjoys a nice bed to curl up on whether in the sun or on top of a bookcase. Scarlet has a curious side and is happy to engage in play. She is a low maintenance kitty who likes human affection yet can keep herself occupied. She isn't noisy or messy, just a sweet, calm kitty looking for a home to call her own. Scarlet and Melanie are no longer considered bonded, however, they get along well with one another so could easily be adopted as a pair. Scarlet would be great for a single person, a couple, or a family with older kids. Scarlet has been around other cats and does well with other friendly, non-aggressive kitties. She has an approximate birthdate of 04-21-2020. Her adoption fee is $95.
