My Story
Scarlett Baggins is a beautiful young gray tabby with the sweetest heart and the gentlest soul. She may be little, but she has so much love to give and is happiest when she is close to her people.
Scarlett's story began in a dumpster, where she and her siblings were born. When their mama never returned, a kind office worker stepped in to save the tiny family. Scarlett was lovingly bottle raised by humans from a very young age, which has made her incredibly attached to people. She seeks out affection, loves being talked to, enjoys cuddles, and wants to be part of whatever her humans are doing. She truly loves people in a way that feels extra special.
Scarlett has been with Kai's Place A Kitty Sanctuary, where she has been growing, thriving, and searching for her forever family. During her time in foster care, she has shown everyone just how gentle, loving, and well-mannered she is.
She is playful, curious, and full of kitten fun. Scarlett loves batting around toy mice, chasing wand toys, diving into cardboard boxes, and pouncing after interactive butterfly toys. She is learning to climb, jump, and perfect her kitten acrobatics, and she can happily entertain herself with almost any toy she finds.
When playtime is over, Scarlett turns into a total cuddle bug. She loves curling up beside her foster mom, happily comes when called, and enjoys simply being close to her humans. Her bottle-baby upbringing has made her exceptionally affectionate, trusting, and people-oriented.
Scarlett has been wonderfully socialized and does beautifully with other cats, a playful cocker spaniel puppy, young children, babies, and adults alike. Like many kittens, sudden loud noises or unfamiliar situations can make her a little shy at first, but her curiosity always wins. With a little patience and reassurance, she quickly blossoms into the loving, playful girl she truly is.
