Meet Serenity a tiny survivor with the sweetest heart. Serenity was found as a young kitten with a severely injured tail that had become infected and needed to be amputated. Thanks to the love and care she received, she now proudly sports the cutest little stump tail, and it certainly doesnt slow her down one bit! While Serenity had a rough start in life, she has blossomed into an affectionate, playful girl who loves being close to her people. She may take a little time to settle into a new environment, but once she feels safe, her loving personality truly shines. One of Serenitys favorite things is belly rubs! With those she trusts, shell flop right onto her back asking for attention. Her foster mom is greeted with the sweetest routine: as soon as Serenity sees her, she lets out a tiny meow, dramatically flops over, and patiently waits for the belly rubs she adores. Serenity is also a champion cuddler. She loves sleeping curled up on your arm, purring herself to sleep beside you. Like many kittens, she enjoys nighttime adventures and showing off her playful hunting instincts before returning to bed. Around 6 a.m., shes known to gently pat your face while youre still fast asleep, making sure you know breakfast time is approaching even if everyone is technically still in bed! She may greet you with the cutest silent meow or those adorable little pats to let you know shes ready to eat. She also has an amusing habit of sniffing and occasionally trying to suck on her foster moms eyelashes, adding even more charm to her quirky personality. She has developed a special bond with her foster brother, Bruce, and would thrive in a home with another friendly kitty companion. While she gets along well with other cats once properly introduced, dogs dont seem to be her favorite, so a dog-free home may be best. Serenity is looking for a patient and loving family who will give her the time she needs to settle in and the affection she craves.
