My Story

This is Spruce! He arrived with his litter mates as very unsocial and fearful kittens. It was the middle of summer, so unfortunately no foster homes were available. But Spruce and his siblings spent some time as office fosters and learned how to be kittens! Spruce is still unsure of new people and takes time to settle. He isn't one for snuggling and he really prefers a look, don't touch type of approach to building confidence and learning to trust. Spruce likely will always be on the independent side and might be a shy cat as he gets older. But we're sure that with some continued work in his new home and a lot of patience, Spruce can be a very fun and friendly companion! He may not be the kind of cat that will offer cuddles after a long day, but he'll be sure to lend an ear for some much needed venting. So if you're looking for a low maintenance and easy going companion that doesn't need a lot from you, or if you have a bored cat at home that needs a playmate, come meet Spruce today!
