My Story

Tappy is a dedicated birdwatcher. Give him a window with a squirrel or chipmunk to track, and he'll stay parked there for hours, fully absorbed in the show. He gets along with everybody. Other cats, dogs, and people --Tappy has no complaints about any of them. Tappy spent six years with his family after being adopted from SFAAR as a kitten. He came back to us through no fault of his own. His person's new significant other turned out to be allergic to cats. The change hit him hard, and he needed real time at his foster home just to feel like himself again. He's still working through some of that stress. Meet & Greet events, carriers, and crowds of strangers are a lot for him right now, and he hasn't quite found his footing greeting people at events yet. At home, in a calm and familiar space, he's a different cat: relaxed, affectionate, and easy company. If you're looking for a low-key adult boy who does well with other pets and just wants a good window to call his own, Tappy would love to be considered.
