Hi... I’m Valkyrie. I’m a 4-year-old girl with a quiet heart and a shy soul. I was surrendered because my previous home had a lot of noise and activity, and it was just too much for me to feel safe. I did coexist peacefully with a senior cat, but the young, energetic cat in the home made me uncomfortable. I also lived with a 9-year-old child and did just fine with them, as long as things stayed calm. I startle easily and loud noises make me nervous, so I’m the kind of cat who needs a peaceful space where I can relax without being overwhelmed. I’m affectionate, but on my own terms. If you give me time and let me come to you, I’ll show you my soft, loving side. I just need someone who understands that trust grows slowly for cats like me. I’m hoping for a calm, quiet home where I can feel safe, settle in at my own pace, and be loved for who I am.
