Venice will absolutely come greet you at the door when you get home. Will she then curl up in your lap and gaze lovingly into your eyes? No. But she will walk by you occasionally to confirm you're still breathing, and honestly that's more than some people get. Venice is a social creature with cats, and if you're lucky, a little bit with you, too. Her favorite activities involve other cats, and she'd much rather be chasing something with a friend than sitting still. As for communication, she's ditched meowing entirely in favor of chirps, which is why she's also known as Squirrel. Venice is playful and active, and she thrives with a young feline companion to match her energy. She's been around kids (she finds them fine, from a distance). Small dogs? Tolerated. She's cool with them and might even join in; she just prefers to let someone else break the ice first.
