My Story

Vesper will be the first one at the door when you get home. She's confident, a little silly, and very clear about what she wants -- which she will mention, briefly, if you forget. Vesper's a bit of a lap cat. She'll settle in with you, enjoy the warmth, and then decide she's done, and that will be that. She values her space and would love a home that gets it. Closeness on her terms is still closeness. Vesper is playful, expressive, and a little dramatic. If she's been left out of a room, she'll let you know, just once, just clearly, and then she'll move on. Vesper does well with kids, though parents should always keep an eye on things; she's friendly - not infinitely patient. The same goes for dogs: she's bold enough to be the first one in the room with a pup and genuinely enjoys the company. She has also smacked her exactly once, when things got too intense. Boundaries were communicated. Lesson was learned. Everyone moved on. To meet Vesper and other adoptable Purr Partners kitties at one of our weekend adoptathon events: 1) review our adoption policies at https://www.purrpartners.org/adopt/policies/ 2) apply to become a pre-approved adopter today at https://www.purrpartners.org/adopt/cats/For more information or to apply to adopt, please go to: https://www.purrpartners.org/adopt/
