William is a bit of a mystery - he appeared out of nowhere and got trapped while we trying to catch a litter of abandoned kittens. No one in the area had seen him before, and he was in desperate need of help - starving, underweight, and filthy, with fur so matted that even our vet had trouble telling if he was a boy or a girl at first. After getting him cleaned up (he took his first bath like a champ!) we found that he is a super sweet boy who is desperate for physical affection and LOVES people. While understandably a little nervous at first, he will turn into a major clinger once he gets to know you. He will give headbutts, roll over and show you his belly, and is an expert biscuit maker.
We estimate he is about one year old and should grow into a beautiful long-haired grey boy. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, and negative for FIV/FeLV. He is good with other cats and should be fine with well-behaved dogs given the right introductions. He is also OK with children. We believe he would do best in a home with another cat, although he could be a great single pet as well. We are located in Carlisle, but willing to travel within reason to help match this adorable boy with the perfect family.
