He is such a sweet, handsome boy who loves going on walks, has medium energy and will play fetch any chance he gets! Just let him sit beside you and toss his toys, he loves that! Eugene likes a calm, quieter environment without a lot of loud outbursts. He will play with other small dogs but loses interest quickly. He loves to be petted while sitting beside his human. He does not crate but sleeps on a dog bed or with his human. He is approximately 15 lbs. and should be brushed regularly and groomed when needed. This can be tough because he doesn't like getting wet or cold. Not a fan of a rainy day either! He is just a great dog who knows his likes and wants. He can be nervous at new introductions and unknown situations, but he is not known to be a barker. He will whimper when stressed. Eugene prefers a quiet household so young children are not recommended. When he rides in a car, he likes the wind in his face so a secure dog car seat would be ideal because he is not a fan of a crate. He is truly a companion dog that is so happy just to be with his people, sleep in their bed (if allowed) and fetch his toys. What a sweet boy! Come meet him on Saturday!! Our adult dog adoption fee is $350 (with $5 processing fee if paid by card) and fee for pups under 4 months old is $400 (with $5 processing fee if paid by card). Adoption fee includes spay or neuter, rabies, DAPP and Bordetella vaccines, deworming, microchip, heart worm test and lifetime registration.
