Aang is a 4-year-old Vizsla located in Coarsegold, California, and hes searching for a home where he can fully stretch his legs and be the loyal, affectionate companion he is. At 140 pounds, Aang is a strong, assertive, and energetic dog who thrives when he has space, stimulation, and a family who understands his needs.
He is house trained, crate trained, and knows several commands including come, stay, inside, outside, and go. Aang enjoys daily walks, exploring outdoors, and having toys to occupy his mind. When given structure and attention, he is calm indoors and a loving presence in the home.
Aang is very loving and loyal, playful, and protective in a thoughtful way. He is vocal when he wants attention or when alerting you to areas he feels need protection. He does well with men, women, and children, and is careful around kids when supervised. Aang has not been exposed to house cats, and because of his strong herding and protective instincts, a cat-free home is recommended. He also tends to be sensitive to fireworks but otherwise adapts well to household routines.
This loyal boy is ready for a family that can give him consistent love, exercise, and guidance. He is happiest with room to move, a family to bond with, and opportunities to play and explore safely.
