My Story

Archie's Compatibility: Dogs - Meet & Greet Cats - Prefers a feline-free home Kids - 16+ Archie is a big, silly Lab mix who’s bursting with love and puppy energy. He’s 67 pounds of joy, goofiness, and "look what I can do!" energy. At just over a year old, Archie is still figuring out how to be a grown-up dog, and he’s doing a great job! He’s friendly, playful, and always ready to make new friends. Like most young retrievers, Archie would love a home where he can get plenty of playtime, walks, and gentle guidance as he learns. He already knows sit and has been working hard on polite mealtime manners, leave it, and trading for treats. What a smart boy! Archie can get excited and forget his manners sometimes, but that’s just part of being a young dog with a big heart and a busy brain. He’ll do best with someone who sees training as a fun way to bond, build trust, and help him shine. Archie will do best in a home with kids 16 and up, where everyone can understand his space around meals and special items while he keeps learning. Archie is such a sweet boy, and he’s ready for someone to help him become the amazing dog he’s meant to be. He’s got the happy heart, the good looks, and all that retriever charm. Now he just needs his person to root for him!
