He arrived at Cobb Animal Services as a stray on June 6th, and how a puppy this adorable and this sweet ended up on his own is hard to imagine. At 59 lbs and just nine months old he is still growing - with an estimated adult weight of 70 to 85 lbs, there is a lot of magnificent dog still to come. Atlas already knows sit and has been described as super sweet - which shines through from the moment you meet him. He is still working on his leash manners and has a puppy's enthusiasm for greeting people, which means he pulls on leash and sometimes forgets to keep all four paws on the floor. For a nine-month-old with that much joy and energy, this is completely expected - and with consistent positive reinforcement training it will come together beautifully. A dog like Atlas is a long term investment in one of the most rewarding companionships imaginable.
