My Story

Meet August (aka Mayzie)!

At just 1 year old and around 90 pounds, August is a beautiful young Mastiff with a heart as big as her paws. This sweet girl is still very much a puppy and is learning all about the world around her.

One thing is certain: August is absolutely solar-powered! She loves spending time outdoors, whether she's exploring the yard, lounging in the sunshine, or simply soaking up the fresh air. A home with a securely fenced yard where she can enjoy her outdoor adventures would be her dream come true.

August is affectionate, playful, and eager to be part of the family. Like many young dogs, she's still working on her manners and can get excited during playtime. She's learning appropriate ways to channel her puppy energy and responds well to redirection, exercise, and plenty of chew toys. Continued training and basic obedience classes would be a wonderful way to help her grow into the amazing companion she's destined to be.

If you're looking for a loving, goofy, sunshine-loving Mastiff who will keep you smiling and make every day brighter, August may be the perfect addition to your family.

August is being fostered in Saint Charles, Missouri.
