Baby is a 2-year-old mixed breed weighing around 29 pounds, and while the world can feel a little overwhelming to her at times, she's doing her best to figure it all out one day at a time. She's a shy girl who is still getting her bearings in a new environment and will need a patient adopter willing to let her move at her own pace. The nice thing about Baby is that even when she's feeling unsure, her curiosity usually wins. She frequently works up the courage to approach new people and say hello in her own sweet, tentative way, and it's impossible not to root for her as she does. Baby is crate-trained and gets along well with other dogs, who may help her continue building confidence as she settles into a home. She's not the type of dog who will show you everything she has to offer on day one, but with a little time, patience, and encouragement, she's already showing that she's eager to connect and learn that the world isn't quite as scary as it first seems.
