My Story

? Hi, I'm Bali! ? I'm a 1.5-year-old, 51-pound sweetheart looking for my forever family -- and I have a few things I think you should know about me: ? Professional cuddler -- I may be 51 pounds, but I'm 100% convinced I'm a lap dog. If there's a cozy spot next to you, I'm ready to fill it! ? Friend to everyone -- I came to the rescue as a stray, but you'd never know it. I'm all about making new friends (especially the furry kind!). ? Dog-loving girlie -- I absolutely adore other pups and get so excited when I meet a new four-legged buddy. I've even helped welcome new dogs at the rescue in Alabama! (Cats and I haven't met yet.) ? Smart cookie -- I'm learning the ropes and doing great! I'm making progress with crate training, seemingly house-trained, and I'm picking up commands quickly. ? Treats = my love language -- I'm food-motivated, eager to please, and ready to show off my new skills. ? Future adventure buddy -- I'm still learning about this leash thing, but I'm already doing great! I don't pull, and I think walks and exploring are pretty amazing. My stray days are behind me, and I'm ready for my best chapter yet -- a home where I can be loved, spoiled, and reminded every day that I belong. ? Could I be your new best friend? ? ***FOSTER TO ADOPT*** Bali is heartworm positive and is currently going through treatment. Once her treatment is complete, the adoption can be finalized. It is the responsibility of the adoptive family to get a microfilaria test 30 days after treatment for a preliminary result and a heartworm test 9 months after treatment for final results. During treatment, you will need to make sure her heart rate is not elevated due to high energy play or exercise until she receives a negative microfilaria test and is cleared by a veterinarian. Bali will also need continued use of monthly heartworm preventives going forward. This will all be covered by Warrior Dog until her last injection. Any other medical needs will be the responsibility of the adopter. If you are interested in adopting Bali, please fill out an adoption application. -------------------------------------------- All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner. Adoption Fee - $400 To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/
