Meet Bardiec Bear, a 2-year-old Micro Bully with a heart as big as her adorable smile.
When Bardiec Bear arrived in foster care, it was clear she had a difficult start in life. At just two years old, she is carrying far more weight than her little frame was designed for, making everyday activities more challenging than they should be. Despite this, Bardiec Bear greets every day with a happy attitude, a wagging tail, and a determination to enjoy life.
She has settled beautifully into foster care and has proven to be a sweet, affectionate girl who loves both people and other dogs. Bardiec Bear quickly became friends with her foster siblings and enjoys having canine companions around. She loves being near her people but is also independent enough to find her own sunny spot outside for a nap before wandering back inside when she's ready for more cuddles.
Bardiec Bear is a playful girl who absolutely loves toys and enjoys short play sessions with her dog friends. Because of her current weight, she tires easily and can overheat, so her activity is carefully monitored while she works toward a healthier lifestyle. She will need a family committed to helping her continue her weight-loss journey through proper nutrition, exercise, and routine veterinary care.
This girl is incredibly food motivated, making training fun and rewarding. Bardiec Bear appears to be potty trained, rides wonderfully in the car, takes her medications without complaint, and is learning her basic manners quickly. She can manage stairs at her own pace but currently needs a little help getting into vehicles or onto furniture.
One of Bardiec Bear's most endearing qualities is her loving nature. She adores attention, hands out plenty of kisses, and wants nothing more than to be close to her people. She is cooperative with grooming and handling, happily allowing her foster mom to clean her facial folds, ears, and trim her nails.
As Bardiec Bear continues her journey toward better health, her foster family is excited to watch her confidence, strength, and personality continue to blossom. She is resilient, loving, and full of potential. With patience, commitment, and lots of love, Bardiec Bear is going to make an incredible companion.
