Benie

Meet Benie, a 1-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix weighing 54 pounds. He is a fun-loving, sweet boy who has quickly become a favorite in his foster home. Benie spent 4 weeks at Excel K9 Training Academy, and has learned sit, place, stay and comes whenever he is called. He has also learned to heel and walks perfectly on the leash. This sweet guy adores being around people and is incredibly affectionate, ready to share his love with everyone he meets. He is extremely energetic and thrives on playtime and running. Benie is strong, active, and would do great with a family who enjoys keeping up with his zest for life. Despite his playful nature, he also appreciates calm evenings and is surprisingly quiet and rarely barks. He is housebroken and crate trained. While he hasn't yet been exposed to cats, his easygoing personality suggests he'll adapt well. He is located in Houston, Texas, and can be transported to most states and his transport fee has been sponsored by a generous donor!!!
