My Story
Meet BillyBob (ACCT-A-254668)!
If you're looking for a professional "leaner," look no further! BillyBob is a sweet, affectionate fellow who loves nothing more than to sit right in front of you and lean his whole body against your legs to show his appreciation. He is a very good boy who seeks out human connection and has a truly wonderful smile.
BillyBob is a food-motivated guy who will do just about anything for a tasty treat-he's a particularly big fan of cheese and cream cheese! This makes him a joy to work with, as he is attentive and eager to please. On his walks, he pulls only moderately and enjoys spending time in the yard, where he loves to sniff around and explore.
When meeting new friends, BillyBob has shown himself to be social and curious. Whether he's greeting staff in the exam room or meeting another dog through the fence with a relaxed, open mouth, he handles social situations with a gentle spirit. He is quite easy to handle and has a loose, wiggly body that lets you know he's happy to be your companion.
If you are looking for a friendly, food-loving, and affectionate dog who will literally lean on you for support and love, BillyBob is ready to find his way into your heart and home!

Behavioral Notes
07/07/2026 Per volunteer: What a good boy Billybob is! He was easy to leash and return to his kennel. He pulls moderately while walking. Once in the yard, he did a lot of sniffing and marking. He met a dog through the fence, his tail remaining mid-level and his mouth opened and relax. He'd disengage on his own and re-engage with the same relaxed body language. He leaned in for pets on his back. He's got a great smile!!!

Got BillyBob checked in. In the exam room, sniffed around for a second before the doctor came over and kneeled down. He went over to her mid to low wagging tail, ears back, and sat in front of her leaning his body into her. Tolerated his exam with ears back, closed mouth, softer eyes. Lip licked once with wider eyes when the doctor was feeling around his underside. Very food motivated and took treats gently. We were able to get all vaccines and a microchip done easily with some cream cheese on the door. When other staff in the room kneeled down he went over to them with loose body, low tail wags, ears back and leaned into them sitting in front of them.
