My Story

Bindi is a sweet girl with a gentle heart. She can be a little reserved when meeting new people, preferring to take her time and get to know you first. Once she feels comfortable, however, Bindi's loving personality shines through and she will reward your patience with unconditional love and loyalty. Bindi walks well on a leash and continues to gain confidence and improve every day. She enjoys spending time with her people and would thrive in a home that will allow her to blossom at her own pace. If you're looking for a kind, devoted companion who will form a special bond with her family, Bindi may be the perfect match. The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing [email protected]. In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626. Interested in fostering a dog in need? Join our foster team at www.wilcotx.gov/390/Fostering and click on "Foster Questionnaire." Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon. We always welcome your dogs to come and meet our dogs, too! We'll see you soon at either location!
