Boomer

Boomer is a 3 month old male shih tzu. He was released to us by a breeder. Boomer is a super sweet and fun puppy. He has a lot of personality. He gets along great with other dogs. When we rescued Boomer we noticed his eyes looked swollen so we took him to an ophthalmologist. We discovered that Boomer has a disease in his corneas and he was put on daily medication. Since he has been on the medication for 3 weeks, his eyes have greatly improved. He can close his eye lids all the way. He has normal vision in right eye and limited vision in the left eye. Boomer will need to continue the medication and will possibly need it the rest of his life. He will also need to continue to see an ophthalmologist annually. Eye issues are very common with the breed. Boomer needs a home that will love him, care for him and have fun with him! For adoption info please email [email protected]
