My Story

Meet Brady! Brady is a 5-year-old, 65-pound Goldendoodle with the biggest heart and an endless supply of love to give. If you're looking for a loyal best friend who wants nothing more than to be by your side, Brady is your guy. This sweet, affectionate boy adores people and is happiest when he's soaking up all the love, cuddles, and belly rubs his family has to offer. He has never met a stranger and greets everyone with a wagging tail and a gentle spirit. Brady is also wonderful with dogs, cats, and kids, making him a fantastic addition to many different types of families. Brady is leash trained and loves going for walks, but his favorite activities are playing fetch and proudly carrying his toys around the house. He's a smart cookie, too! He already knows sit, paw, and lay down, and he's always eager to learn more-especially if treats or praise are involved. Brady would thrive in a home with a fenced yard where he has room to play and stretch his legs. More than anything, he's looking for a family that will include him in their daily lives and give him the love and attention he's been dreaming of. Like many dogs who love their people deeply, Brady experiences some separation anxiety. He isn't a fan of being confined to a crate, though he's making progress with patience and positive reinforcement. He'll do best with a family that understands this and is willing to continue helping him build confidence when home alone. Brady isn't just looking for a home-he's looking for his person, or people, to love with his whole heart. In return, you'll gain a faithful companion who will happily join you for walks, games of fetch, cozy movie nights, and every adventure in between. Could Brady be the missing piece of your family? He's ready to spend the rest of his days loving you unconditionally. Brady is currently being fostered in Clark, NJ. His adoption fee is $600. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
