Meet Brownie! Brownie is a 56 year old Chihuahua mix weighing just 7 pounds, and she is truly one of those dogs who reminds you how resilient and loving dogs can be. Despite everything shes been through, Brownie greets life with a happy spirit, a wagging tail, and endless affection for the people around her. When Brownie first came into rescue, she was in heartbreaking condition. She had been living in a very poor environment and arrived severely infested with fleas, with significant hair loss, damaged skin, and very little body weight. Thanks to the dedication of her amazing foster mom, Brownie has been lovingly nursed back to health and has completely transformed into the beautiful, healthy dog she was always meant to be. What shines brightest about Brownie is her incredible temperament. She is friendly, affectionate, and always happy to receive attention. She loves being loved and never misses an opportunity to soak up cuddles, pets, and affection from her favorite people. Shes the kind of dog who makes everyone around her smile. Brownie gets along wonderfully with other dogs and currently lives in a foster home with several canine companions. She enjoys playing and socializing with them but also knows how to relax and enjoy quiet time. Shes the perfect balance of playful and cuddlyequally happy running around with friends or curling up beside you on the couch for a nap.
