Meet Buster! Buster is a handsome 1 year old Boxer mix weighing approximately 50 pounds. This sweet boy has overcome a difficult start in life and is now thriving as he searches for the loving forever family he deserves. When Buster first entered rescue, he was severely underweight and had clearly been neglected. With proper care, nutrition, and lots of love, he has transformed into a healthy, happy dog who is ready for his next chapter. Buster is an incredibly friendly and social dog who loves everyone he meets. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and people, and he truly enjoys being part of the action. Because of his size and playful nature, we think a home with older children would be the best fit. Buster is affectionate, loving, and happiest when spending time with his people. Whether hes playing, learning something new, or simply hanging out by your side, hes always eager to be involved. This smart boy has worked hard on his training and already knows all of the commands required for Canine Good Citizen certification. He walks nicely on a leash, is crate trained, and continues to do very well with house training. Buster is eager to please, highly intelligent, and responds beautifully to positive reinforcement. While he certainly enjoys treats, he is just as motivated by praise and attention, making him a joy to work with. Buster is the complete packageplayful, funny, affectionate, and incredibly loyal. At 50 pounds, he will do best with a family that is comfortable handling a medium-to-large dog and committed to continuing the training and structure that has helped him become such a wonderful companion. He has so much love to give and is ready to reward his future family with a lifetime of friendship and devotion. Buster is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and preventatives, including ProHeart 6, and will have his health certificate prior to adoption.
