FROM BUSTER'S FOSTER MOM:
Buster is the sweetest little boy, he's about 1 year old & weighs in at 12 pounds. He loves belly rubs and curling up on my lap. I like that he's affectionate & snuggly. Buster LOVES to run around in the fenced backyard therefore, a physical fenced in yard is Required to adopt him because that is what is best for Him. He loves to play with a variety of toys & Nylabones. The stuffed toys he throws them up and chases them down, it's so cute & funny. Buster is good with other dogs as you can see from the picture. Buster's hair is soft & in some places it's longer, but easy to maintain: a bath & nail trim once a month (as you can see, he doesn't mind baths at home!) He is well behaved & learning new commands well. He is crate trained. Buster is just a very lovable guy someone is going to hit the "DOGGY LOTTERY" with this one! Buster is Fostered Near Machesney, Park, IL & Fon Du Lac, WI some weekends. The donation for Buster is $350.00. That helps pay for Neuter Surgery, a Wellness Examination by our local Veterinarian, Microchip, Heartworm Test Blood Work & Preventative, Distemper/Parvo & Rabies Vaccines, Health Certificate, Flea & Tick Preventatives, Transport Fees, High Quality Food etc.

Veterinarian references are Always verified. Your Veterinarian must confirm with K9LLR that your past/ present dogs Heartworm Testing is up to date & Preventative has been purchased/scripted along with current Rabies. Call your Veterinarian Before applying to give permission for them to release information to K9LLR & check that all their records are complete & accurate.
Some of our dogs & puppies are mixed breeds & in most cases we do not know who their parents were. We do our best to properly Breed ID our pups, however we cannot be 100% sure of any mix breed.
All puppies & dogs have had a wellness exam by a licensed Veterinarian. They are healthy to the best of our knowledge & come with a Certified Health Certificate (CVI). All adult dogs are heartworm tested & have had spay or neuter surgery. Dental surgery is done on dogs with severe dental disease. Most PUPPIES Will need continued Distemper/Parvo vaccine, a Rabies Vaccine & deworming, this is the adopters responsibility. All dogs & puppies are fed high quality dog foods while in the care of K9LLR. We hope our adopters follow suit and are happy to discuss nutrition with you.
