Meet Capone! This handsome pittie came to TCHS due to his previous owner no longer being able to care for him. He can be fearful of new people and environments but once he is comfortable with you, he will never want to leave your side! This sweetheart was malnourished on arrival and will take some time to fully recover. In his previous home, he lived around other dogs, it is unknown if he has met any cats. Slow and proper introductions are still recommended with any resident pets in his new home. He knows how to sit and shake! It is unknown if he is house trained (A regular and often schedule is strongly recommended to help prevent accidents while your new dog is adjusting to your home and routine). He is a total ham who loves his people, we would guess he would make a great snuggler! He will likely always be very motivated by food/treats, given his past. Use caution with food/treats when around other animals or people/children that may not read his body language to respect his boundaries. He should be monitored with any edible chews/rawhide types, because he tends to eat them very fast. Could Capone be your new best friend? Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, de-worming, any medical procedures and general care.
