Shelter Assessment: Super Friendly Pup Dog Friendly- very playful with her dog friends Very Socialized Dahlia is aged at 2 years, she is very excited to get out of the kennel, so leashing is difficult but once you lasso her, she calms down, pulls slightly on leash but is easy to correct, allowed to be picked up and held she is just wiggly, knows sit and takes treats a little sharky after a few minutes she did take them easier, allowed full body touch with no issues including tugging on her ears, tail and paws, likes toys she carried around a tennis ball, loves getting attention and giving kisses. Dahlia is current on shots, licensed, and microchipped. All dogs over 6 months have been heartworm tested, and all dogs are treated monthly for fleas/ticks and are on Heartworm prevention (NexGard PLUS). All pets are spayed/neutered prior to a finalized adoption. All our dogs receive a behavior assessment before being placed for adoption to determine initial behaviors towards people and other dogs in the shelter environment.
