My name is Daphne! I am a young female, Maltese mix, almost a year and a half old and weigh approx 14 pounds. The start of my life was very difficult and lonely but I never gave up hope! I don't understand how I ended up in the shelter. I was nervous, not feeling well and hopeless! The shelter staff wasn't sure if I was never loved and socialized or devastated and shut down because I was left behind. My life has forever changed since I was rescued! At first so many things were new for me and very scary. Each day I build more confidence and trust in people. I have become an amazing and loving girl! I absolutely love my foster family both adult and children. Since I have been through so much,* I would prefer to be in a quiet adult only home.* It would be great to have another four legged sibling sinceI love the company all of my fur baby foster brothers and sisters. I am great on my leash and in the car. I finally have toys of my own and I am often found lounging in a pile of them. Most days I have an audience watching me run, play and fetch in my front yard. I have been a great girl in my foster home and my potty training has been amazing since I entered! My Foster Mommy feels I am now ready to find my forever home. I know I will someday find someone to love me and I will be their best friend forever in return! My wish is for is a loving, patient forever home and best friend/friends who will teach me how to be a pup. I was recently spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and my labs were completed at my last vet appointment.
