Hi, I'm Duce! If you're looking for a big, handsome best friend, I might be your guy. I may be a giant on the outside, but underneath it all I'm a sweet, loving boy who just wants to feel safe, loved, and part of a family. I can take a little time to get comfortable with new people and situations, so I'd love someone who understands that trust is something we build together. A little patience, kindness, and compassion go a long way with me. Once I know you're my person, I'll happily lean into your pets, follow you around, and soak up all the love you have to give. Whether we're relaxing at home, hanging out in the yard, or just enjoying each other's company, I'm happiest when I'm with the people I love. I'm a smart boy, too! I already know sit, paw, and down, and I'm always willing to show off my skills, especially if treats are involved. I love treats almost as much as I love toys! I'll play with just about anything, but chew toys are definitely my favorite. When I'm not playing, you'll often find me outside exploring the yard, taking in all the wonderful smells and sights around me. I'm curious, friendly, and enjoy being part of whatever is going on. What I'm really looking for is a home that will give me the time I need to settle in and the love I deserve.
