Mirror mirror on the wall, whos the fairest of them all? Emery is! This adorable 8-year old, 19-pound Dachshund is obsessed with mirrors and gets super happy at the sight of her own reflection. Its the funniest thing everrrr!
Friendly and warm with humans of all ages as well as other dogs, Emery is a bit shy initially, but once she gets to know you and deems you safe, shes ALL in. She loves to cuddle, be pet, and sit next to you on the couch while doing absolutely nothing. This furry hotdog is a furry chill dog!
Emery is fully housebroken, crate trained, and walks nicely...but slowly...on a leash. Emery loves the outdoors and enjoys going for walks, but her idea of enough exercise is about 10-minutes worth. While walking about, Emerys favorite thing to do is hunt for treasures on the ground, such as food, garbage, pieces of shrubbery, you name it. That cute button nose of hers works overtime!
Currently on a diet, Emery has a healthy appetite but is trying hard to shed some extra weight shes been carrying around. Already having slimmed down a bit, Emery is starting to look better and feel lighter. She eats soft foods due to some missing back teeth, and she has diabetes which requires daily insulin injections every 12 hours, which she handles like a champ. Its really NOT a big deal at all.
Sure, this delicious dumpling is an older gal with a few health issues, but Emery is so worth the effort. She just wants a safe place to hang out, play quietly, stroll peacefully, and be lovingly cared for. In return, she will give you her heart, her soul, and every ounce of her sweetness. Awwww!
