Meet Fritter! Another little youngster abandoned and terrified at our local animal control, he quickly warmed up and showed hes still just a puppy and a jittery Velcro one at that. He was recently shaved, though had a few dirty dreadlocks still hanging off of him. So we are going to guess he was pretty neglected for a while and paces and panics when crated at first like he spent a lot of time in one and climbs baby gates in his quest to socialize. Hes very sweet and needy, about a year old Maltese mix, under 10lbs. He gets along with dogs but mostly just wants to be around his person and dances and begs to be held. Housebreaking is a work in progress and may take some patience. We are a small all-volunteer organization focused on rescuing local dogs from area shelters, as well as accepting some surrenders and puppy mill rescues.
