Ghost's story began when a kind man was driving down a rural country road and noticed something unusual in a ditch. After backing up to take a closer look, he discovered a hungry, overheated puppy lying there all alone. He scooped him up and brought him home, giving Ghost the chance as a brand new life. At just 3-4 months old and already tipping the scales at 30 pounds, Ghost is a big, HANDSOME brindle boy with an even bigger heart! This SWEET puppy loves everyone he meets and is always ready to make new friends, whether they have two legs or four. He enjoys playing outside, exploring the world and soaking up all the attention he can get. AND-playing in WATER in the puppy pool is the best! During his veterinary exam, Ghost's foster noticed a bump on his head. X-rays revealed that he had suffered a skull fracture at some point in his young life, but thankfully it had already healed completely. We'll never know exactly what happened to this sweet boy, and honestly, we probably don't want to! What matters is that Ghost is now a HAPPY, HEALTHY puppy who has left the past behind and is ready for a bright future. Ghost is currently living with other dogs in his foster home and does well with them. Like any young puppy he's full of curiosity, energy and enthusiasm. He is just beginning leash training and crate training and will need a family committed to continuing his puppy education as he grows. And grow he will! Ghost is already a big boy and is expected to become a large adult dog.
